POSITIUM
Positium is the only data analytics company in the world specialising in mobile positioning data for official statistics. Founded in 2003, we have nearly two decades of experience working with global clients and scientists alike. Positium develops innovative GIS solutions, high-quality methodologies, software, and expertise to process MPD for insights into the spatio-temporal behaviour of human beings.
Your base will be our modern city-centre office in Tartu, where you will work closely with experienced data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, contributing directly to analytical work that reaches clients worldwide.
At Positium, your work will never be limited to one market. You will collaborate with clients and partners from different parts of the world – from national statistical offices to ministries and international organisations – giving you a front-row seat to how data shapes societies. This position offers, and at times requires, international travelling, allowing you to build relationships face-to-face.
We genuinely care about our people. Feedback and satisfaction are taken seriously on an individual level, ensuring that everyone feels heard and supported. At the same time, we keep our culture light-hearted – we share lunches, laugh together, and enjoy team activities outside of work. Once a year, we dedicate a full development week to learning and growing as a team.
We value results over rigid schedules. At Positium, you can plan your work in a way that suits you best - whether from our Tartu office or from home - as long as you remain available to your colleagues when needed and fulfil your commitments. We trust our people to manage their time wisely, allowing you to balance work and personal life without compromising impact. Flexibility here goes both ways – giving you freedom, while ensuring the team can rely on each other.
At Positium, you will work at the intersection of applied data science, statistics, and real-world impact, collaborating with top experts to understand how people move, live, and interact with space.
